How
much do your services cost?
$ 39.95 for book boxes and $ 49.95 for standard size boxes $59.95
for large boxes. This rate is for the entire summer.

STORAGE
Can I store my computer and or
furniture?
Yes. Our storage facility is climate controlled, which is perfectly
safe for all your electronic equipment. If you no longer have the
boxes, you may use our boxes with plenty of packing materials for
extra cushioning. Summer Storage stores most types of furniture.
Bikes, trunks, rugs, refrigerators, shelves, futons, desks, filing
cabinets, chairs and more! We cannot accept glass, mirrors, or lamps
outside of a box. Rugs have to be bundled together and taped.
What does climate-controlled mean?
Climate-controlled means that our storage facility maintains a safe
temperature.
Do you have restrictions
on the types of things that can be stored?
Yes. Hazardous materials, liquids, jewelry, cash, and valuables
cannot be stored with Summer Storage. All packages must be packed
appropriately and in accordance with our standards.
Do you offer extended storage?
No. Unfortunately we are unable to meet your long-term storage needs.
Packages will be picked up on May 11, 12, and 13 and returned to
campus on Sunday September 4. back

SHIPPING
How does your shipping service
work?
Package Shipping Network an affiliate of Summer Storage is an authorized
UPS ship center. They will be in the Quad Lounge accepting packages
to be shipped via UPS on May 11, 12, and 13.
What
destinations does your shipping service cover?
We can ship your packages to anywhere in the continental US. Due
to customs requirements and high airfreight prices, we cannot ship
to international destinations or to Alaska and Hawaii.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping prices are based on weight and destination.
Can I ship furniture?
No. Unfortunately, due to the service limitations of our shipping
carriers, we can only ship boxes, luggage, and trunks. back

STORAGE FACILITY
Where are your storage facilities
located?
Our professionally managed storage facilities are within driving
distance from Barnard’s Campus.
Can I access my belongings during
the summer?
No. Access to your belongings is not possible during the summer
months. All packages are palletized and stored in the facility making
access very difficult. All packages will be delivered back to campus
on Sunday, September 4.
BOXES AND SUPPLIES
Do you provide packaging supplies?
Yes. All supplies are free of charge for our storage customers.
Free boxes will be provided in the Quad Lounge on May 11, 12, and
13.
What is the size of your boxes?
Our large boxes measure 24x18x18 (4.5 cubic feet). They are very
roomy, and can hold up to 70 pounds securely. Additionally, the
standard box measures 18x18x16 (3.0 cubic feet) and out book box
measures 16x12.5x12.5 (1.5 cubic feet) back

PICKUP AND DELIVERY
When will I be able to select
a pickup and delivery time?
You will be able to choose from one of the three days we will be
on Campus, May 11, 12, and 13. All packages will be returned to
Campus on September 4.
Do you pickup directly at my door?
No, due to the high demand of our services and hightend security
issues we are unable to pickup packages from all students. If special
assistance is necessary please contact us in advance, accommodations
will be made as necessary.
I live off-campus. Can you pick
up and deliver my things?
No, but packages can be dropped off and picked up in the Quad Area.
What if I don't know my fall address
prior to your picking up my things?
That is OK. All packages are delivered back to Campus on September
4 between the hours of 9 am and noon. Make sure all packages are
clearly labeled with your name and any additional information that

INSURANCE
Are items insured against damage
or loss?
Yes. Our prices include $100 worth of insurance per shipped item.
